Barley Hot Dish

  • 1 1/2 cups Western Trails barley, partly pre-cooked, and drained
  • 1 chopped onion
  • 1 cup chopped celery
  • 1/4 cup margarine or butter
  • 1/2 pound hamburger, browned and drained
  • 1 can mushroom soup

Sauté barley, onion and celery in oil until soft. Add hamburger; mix all together and pour into a baking dish. Mix 1 can mushroom soup and water, then pour it over barley. Bake 1 hour at 350 degrees. Add more mushrooms if you desire.
